Eager to explore the world of recruitment, she joined the candidate side of a boutique executive recruiting firm called Grant Morgan. It was a pivotal move that ignited her passion for connecting individuals with their dream jobs. MH excelled in this role, understanding the aspirations of candidates, and forging strong relationships with them.
Her reputation as a reliable consultant with customers and internal partners led her to Tiffany & Co., the iconic luxury brand. MH seized the opportunity and joined their team, embracing the challenges that came with selling luxury products to the business world. Her clients ranged from high end luxury hotels to professional sports teams, to the White House and Senate. Her determination and customer focused selling led to a string of awards and accolades over a 15-year period. But it wasn’t just about sales for MH; she was equally invested in building and leading her team to success.
As MH’s career continued to flourish, so did her passion for helping others grow professionally. She transitioned into managerial and consulting roles at Godiva and David Yurman, where she not only managed teams but also played a crucial role in shaping the B2B structures of these companies. Her leadership skills were evident, and she was respected for her ability to motivate and empower those around her.
MH’s expertise in the technology sector brought new opportunities her way. She thrived in various technology companies, always bringing her unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking to the table. But amidst her achievements, MH felt a calling to make a more profound impact.
At New Clients, MH took on the role of Senior VP of Sales, overseeing a team of 30 sales leaders. While she enjoyed her work, she found her employees asking for career advice and looking for mentorship and motivation.
