After a thirty-year career in the Automotive Repair Industry, having begun as an entry level laborer and being promoted into Operations Management, I had an opportunity to become a business owner through a franchise in the Boutique Fitness arena. Through years of dealing with customers in business management and later ownership, I came to the realization that what people wanted most was to be heard and understood. Training my employees to listen with the intent of understanding rather than planning a response to our customers has proven to be a significant practice in the success of not only my businesses, but in the daily achievements of my employees.
In my role as a Recruiter with Patrice and Associates, I will continue that successful practice of intentional listening as I encounter a candidate seeking new job placement, and a company seeking an employee.
