Today is International Women’s Day. A day celebrated globally on March 8th where women are recognized and celebrated in cultural, economic, political, and social achievements. Today marks the call to action for women’s rights and equity in the workplace. The first International Women’s Day occurred in 1911 over a century […]
By now, we have all heard of the Great Resignation. This movement has spanned all age groups from Millennials, Gen X, to Baby Boomers. During the pandemic we saw a significant surge of Baby Boomers retiring. It was a stark reality that crazy things happen and maybe it’s time to […]
On this President’s Day, we are sitting here reflecting on what a tumultuous two years our country has gone through. This pandemic has put a strain on everyone professionally, financially, and mentally. That being said, we are moving into 2022 seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Patrice […]
In the spirit of love and community today is the day to talk about giving back. When you look at the definition of “give back” in the dictionary it states, to provide help or financial assistance to others in appreciation of one’s own success or good fortune. This is exactly […]

2020 was a year to remember, or forget. We all know hospitality was one of the hardest hit industries. The restaurants that survived had to “pivot” to stay afloat. Carry out, curbside pick up, and delivery all became the “norm”. Restaurants and Patrice & Associates pivoted together. The pandemic is […]
We are seeing more and more companies expanding and need managers. Our hospitality recruitment services are in high demand as we have over 1,000 jobs. The demand for managers will be increasing as restaurants are moving to digital drive-thru windows. Pizza Hut is launching a digital pickup window at 1,500 […]
As the owner of Patrice & Associates Hospitality Recruitment, I use my own business as a yardstick measuring the health of the hospitality industry. In 2020, our clients were being forced to close, job seekers weren’t looking for jobs as they were on unemployment – and there were no jobs […]
Authored by Chuck Helden, Franchisee The other day I came upon a LinkedIn post, written by a recruiter from another firm within my own industry. This recruiter wrote that her client embarrassed her because of their unresponsiveness to the application of one of her candidates. She told the candidate of this client’s […]
I wasn’t looking. I was genuinely happy in my role and had no plans to make a move. But Brian reached out with an opportunity that gave me pause, and that’s not easy to do.
What stood out was that he clearly understood who I was and what my next step could look like. He wasn’t casting a wide net. He brought me something specific, at a level that matched where I was headed, with an organization whose values aligned with mine, and he made a compelling case for why it was worth a conversation.
I accepted a General Manager position overseeing a collection of luxury oceanfront properties in Maine, and I couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead. It takes real skill to find the perfect match at exactly the right moment. Brian did exactly that, and I cannot thank him enough.
Thank You,
Melissa S.

I first met Casey back in August of this year. At the time, I wasn’t actively seeking a job change, but Casey’s open and relaxed approach encouraged me to explore the opportunity he presented. We discussed the available position and the possibility of me applying. When I felt the timing was right, Casey guided me through the details of the company so thoroughly that I felt like I already knew the property and many of the people working there.
His encouragement and insights helped me breeze through the interview process and even enjoy touring the property. It was, by far, the easiest and most enjoyable interview experience I’ve ever had. With Casey’s support, I felt confident I had the job before I even stepped foot on the property for my first tour.
I thought I had my dream job at my previous property, but I now realize I’m truly in my dream role—with the most amazing team I could ask for. As I’ve told Casey, I’ll forever be grateful for the role he played in placing me here. He’s a true rock star and an invaluable asset to Patrice & Associates.
A huge THANK YOU to Casey Chapman and the entire team of Patrice & Associates!
Warmest Regards,
Danielle S.

Casey Chapman was instrumental in helping me find a new job after a sudden layoff. He was professional and easy to talk to from the beginning. He passed along my information to a company I was excited to work with, then helped me prepare for my subsequent interviews. He was transparent every step of the way. It was a pleasure working with him, and I would recommend him if you need help finding a new job.

Happy Sunday to you and would love to sing the praises of Brian! Appreciating I will be starting with a new company and would first like to “feel things out”, is it possible to resend this email (as a reminder) in a month or two once I get settled?
