Woody spent the latter half of his corporate career at the executive level. His roles were with Fortune 100 and 500 companies and primary responsibilities were to help struggling sales divisions turn themselves around. Among other things in these corporate roles, he has been involved in succession planning, interview instrument development, internal recruitment and leadership development.
In 2008, he left the corporate world, and he, along with his wife, Kathy, purchased a company that manufactures medical apparel and equipment, along with corporate apparel, which we provided to colleges of all scales in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. In just two years Woody and Kathy, along with the excellent team they put together, turned the company around from fledgling to successful. They enjoyed their experience and decided that the perfect time to sell was while the business was on an upward trajectory.
Now Woody is on to the next step of his journey. His desire to provide great customer service to clients, help candidates find their dream jobs, along with his years of experience in all levels of recruitment make him uniquely qualified as an executive recruiter with Patrice & Associates. Kathleen Helfand
Kathy most recently spent the last 10+ years as Director of Business and Customer Service for a Florida-based wholesale manufacturing business owned by she and her husband, Woody. Responsibilities in that role included hiring and development of the staff, as well as overseeing production to ensure that daily revenue goals were met or exceeded. Our business stretched throughout this great country, into Canada and Puerto Rico, as well as China, where our product was manufactured from a single thread into millions of garments. Prior to this ambitious undertaking, Kathy served for almost 20 years in a corporate human resources role, providing support to 20,000 employees, from production workers to top executives, throughout the United States. As a result of these journeys, Kathy has developed a deep regard for customer service.
