Casey Nichik
Casey is a Co-Owner, Executive Recruiter, and Career Coach of Talent 512 LLC d.b.a Patrice & Associates ATX, partnering with C-Suite/Executives, HR teams, and hiring managers in the Hospitality, Food, and Beverage industry and beyond to find and hire the best talent for their most critical and/or challenging roles.
As a former HR Executive, I have 15 years of experience partnering with clients to develop and execute talent strategies that enable organizations to achieve their short and long-term goals. Casey is acutely aware of the pressures that hiring managers and HR teams are facing in finding and retaining top talent and knows that the longer it takes to find and/or develop the right talent, the greater the adversity it poses on the team’s productivity and the company’s bottom line.

Casey holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland-College Park. She was raised in New York City and has lived in Maryland, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Tampa, and Sydney, Australia.
Casey currently resides in Austin, TX with Todd and their three dogs. She enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, paddleboarding, live music, yoga, reading, cooking, traveling, and seeking new experiences.
Todd Gerjes
Todd Gerjes is the co-owner of Patrice and Associates ATX, a prominent recruiting agency that specializes in finding top-notch candidates for food and beverage establishments in the Texas Hill Country. Todd’s unique and determined approach sets his agency apart from others in the recruiting industry.
Before venturing into executive recruiting, Todd spent over 20 years in the medical field, focusing on customer relations and account management. He worked his way up the corporate ladder, eventually becoming an Operations Manager/Outpatients Surgical Director while staying with the same company for 17 years. Todd’s background in the medical field equipped him with valuable skills in building and maintaining relationships, which he now applies to the world of executive recruiting. He sees recruiting as a way to continue helping people in their professional journeys.
Throughout his medical career, Todd earned the trust and respect of many facilities and doctors’ offices by taking pride in his work and ensuring that every patient received exceptional service. He carries the same dedication and attitude into his role at Patrice and Associates of Austin, where he and his partner aim to make the transition for candidates as smooth as possible in their quest for new opportunities.
Aside from his professional achievements, Todd is a former Ironman triathlete who used to dedicate 30 hours a week to training. He believes that true winners are those who persevere despite setbacks. At Patrice and Associates of Austin, Todd and his team are committed to using all available resources to find the best candidates for their clients’ establishments and help candidates embark on their next professional chapter.
Outside of work, Todd resides in Cedar Park, Texas, with his girlfriend and three dogs. He has a passion for sports, including golf, horse racing, wake surfing, snowboarding, and various other sports. During his successful triathlon career, Todd participated in 48 races across the country, completing two Ironman events and 13 Half-Ironman events.
One of Todd’s guiding philosophies is, “The dream is free, but the hustle is sold separately,” emphasizing the importance of hard work and determination in achieving one’s goals.
