Position Overview & Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility of the restaurant when GM is not present
  • Delegate responsibilities to other team members
  • P&L, Budgets, Labor Costs, Food Costs, etc.
  • Inventory
  • Train, coach and discipline in accordance with company policies

Benefits

  • Training – 8 weeks local
  • A la carte:  3 medical plans, dental, vision – benefits effective 1st of the month following 30 days employment
  • 2 weeks vacation per year, 1 week may be used after 6 months, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years
  • 401K with match – 25% match up to 6% of pay
  • Free meal on or off shift
  • No sick pay or personal days

Position Requirements

  • 4 year's experience as a Assistant Manager in full-service dining and/or as a General Manager in a casual, fast food, or Quick Serve Restaurant
  • Ability to articulate personal and team success stories
  • No more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years or 3 in the last nine years unless your restaurant was sold or closed
  • Proven track record in increasing sales
  • History of strong cost controls
  • Passion for great customer service
  • Energy for a high-volume restaurant
  • Team-development focus
  • Good business sense
